The Duke of Cumberland – Barham village

Built in 1749, this attractive pub is set in a pretty village. It is sister pub to the Jackdaw at Denton. The bars are decorated with hanging hops, and there is a back room which can be used for small functions. The food is imaginative and good value, and includes set lunches, £6.95 for 2 courses (not available Sundays) During the summer, there is a marquee in the garden which is used for the pub beer festival at the end of July, and for other events. The garden and patio include a well-equipped fenced-off children’s play area. There are quiz nights with a curry supper.
