The Regency Beach House is the perfect seaside retreat, built in 1832, this large family home with direct sea views, forms part of a pretty late-Georgian Terrace in Herne Bay, a small seaside town in Kent, England. The views from the master bedroom and main living room are simply stunning….an uninterrupted direct sea view, beheld from extremely comfortable and exceptionally stylish rooms.

There is a wonderfully comfortable sitting room with panoramic direct sea views. This room is full of interest with …..This area leads directly into a wonderful dining area with unique mirrored table and huge distinctive chandelier. There is also a gas aga here and an extraordinary full size antique pestle and mortar.
The house has direct sea views and is in the best part of town; convenient to all amenities and not right on top of them.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is stylish and very well equipped with Cooker, fridge, freezer (with ice), toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and iron and dining area is extremely atmospheric. With the stags head taking pride of place along with an enormous, fabulous chandelier and mirrored dining table. Every detail has been imaginatively thought out with dainty cruet set, large antique pestle & mortar and aga. A direct view through the sitting room can be enjoyed while dining.
The area is great for walkers and cyclists, turn right out of the front door and walk along the coast to Reculver and beyond or turn left and walk along to Whitstable, perhaps stopping off at JoJo’s restaurant at Tankerton for lunch.The house layout:
The area enjoys good transport links to London and wider south eastern England.
There is a large patio area to the rear of the house with plenty of seating, deckchairs and a bbq.
At the front there is a gently sloping front lawn and path leading directly to the beach (quiet road between). This is a particular feature of the Regency Beach House….you cannot get much closer to the sea. Watching the sun set with a glass of something cold, from the front lawn or beach is special….
